How can I make sure my daughter school is putting hand soap in restrooms?

Due to this swine flu i would like my girls to have soap at school to wash their hands but my youngest daughter keeps telling me her school doesn't have any. I went this morning to check for myself and sure enough they don't. I called the school and asked and they said they do..i told them i visited their restroom this morning and that there wasn't any. They said ok i will forward this msg to principal and that was the end of phone call. What can I do to make sure they do that...it's important to me so that this flu does not affect the kids there u know. Any suggestions?How can I make sure my daughter school is putting hand soap in restrooms?
You did the right thing and complained. I would suggest not giving up on that either. Swine Flu had taken lives. The only thing I could suggest in the mean time is to just have your daughter carry a mini bottle of hand SOAP. My recent biology class discovered that Germ-X is not enough.


A GOOD idea would to call someone like a health inspector to help. Or some kind of authority out of school to help.

maybe send your daughters to school with a small cointainer of antibacterial hand wash, the stuff that dries up quickly. theres only so mych you as a parent can do. check again and if theres no soap you should go directly to the office and tell them they need to do something about it.
maybe just tell her how germy it is not to wash your hands and how people can make themselves sick from not washing them. I would also call the school and make sure they have some. maybe send some soap to school with your daughter or some hand sanitizier.
You can't be sure what they put in the schools, but if you give your daughter germx hand sanitizer it would be even more efficient because she would be able to use it at any time not only right after she goes to the bathroom.
Give them each a small bottle of hand sanitizer.


Some brands sell them with clips so you can carry them on your pant loop for easier use.
You should check in the next day or two and see if they put any soap in the bathrooms and if they didint you should buy some soap and put it in the bathrooms.
Honestly, I feel that the Swine Flu is not really that serious. The people who did die from it were already really sick from other causes.
well if i was you i would let her take soup for her! she can put it in her book sack and take it out wen she goes to the restroom!

If you don't get any response from the phone call, go up to the school and demand to speak to administration, don't beat around the bush it's important for your daughters health, you don't have to be rude just ';assertive';.





For the health of your daughter, send her to school with disinfectant wipes hand sanitizer, a 5-12 oz. little bottle of it, which you can find at most supermarkets at a reasonable price. Best brands are Purell and Germ-X.





And remember, if a kid at the school gets sick it's more than likely the school will shut down for a week or so, and so more than likely your daughter may not get sick, but NEVER take any chances. Kids touch EVERYTHING, and share. So tell her not to share anything with her friends or classmates or she could get sick.
