I've heard that it is really bad for your hands and gives you premature wrinkles. Is this true? What do you usually use?
And is it also true with handwashes [the ones that come with a pump]?Is it true that using soap is bad for your hands?
All depends on how hidrated you are and how often you use it for instance from a long time the best way to clean a cut or a superficial wound it is to dissolve some blue%26amp;white soap on warm (not hot) water and will cicatrize quicker strangely that's the best way to clean/recover CD's (I've tried that one and the result is brilliant), about handwash there are a lot that are bad and/or bad quality but the ones from Palmolive for instance seem ok and the feeling is always that your hands and skin are well moisturised, self experience and from what most of my girlfriends have told me he he, hope this helps, kiss.Is it true that using soap is bad for your hands?
if you constantly use soap or handwashes to wash your hands it can cause harm to the epidermis which is the first layer of skin. This is very thin so must be careful not to use soap in excessive amounts like washing them 20 times a day. One of the symptoms of OCD can be constantly washing hands, which is why their hands appear to look very red and sore. Also try to use soap or handwash which is kind to your hand will usually say its made with natural ingredients.
Let me guess some dirty kid probably told you this huh? Of course not. Wrinkles come with age and sun exposure. Not soap. If anything most soaps help because they may have moisturizers in them. If you're worried about wrinkly hands put on lotion daily that have some SPF in it.
Well, I don't know if this is true or not but I would assume that if your using soap that has alot of chemicals in it then it could be bad for your skin. If your concerned, just get the plain kind of soap with no harsh chemicals.
It's not necessarily bad, depending on what type of soap you use.
I have sweaty hands and hate the gritty feeling when it dries, so I wash my hands pretty often- but I use a moisturising soap, so it's all fine :D
soap is very good because, it is great for cleaning hands, but used on a regular basis is said to remove the moisture in your hands. This may make them dry
It won't give you wrinkles but if you don't like the chemicals try Toms of Maine soap.
Its chemical free and not tested on animals and all natural. I really like it.
Not if you use it a reasonable amount.
Who the hell told you that?? no soap is a really good thing for washing your hands
It is true that soap has a drying effect on your hands...Use a soap free hand wash
