Is it more effective to wash your hands with just water or would using soap and water kill more microogansisms

Soap kills bacteria by making a hypotonic environment, which cell membranes cannot withstand, resulting in cytolysis (bursting of the cell), thereby effectively killing off much of the harmful microorganisms on the surface in question. (your hand) So obviously soap is much more effective in eliminating germs than plain water.

Hope this was helpfulIs it more effective to wash your hands with just water or would using soap and water kill more microogansisms
Neither. The best thing here is to use Krazy Glue.Is it more effective to wash your hands with just water or would using soap and water kill more microogansisms
If U use just water when washing your hands, U are not washing them, U are just spreading the bacteria around. U must use soap and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. Pay attention to the webbing between your fingers, your nails and cuticles and any jewelry, also your wrists. Use a single use paper towel for drying. If U use cloth, You are putting anything in that towel onto your hands.
soap and warm/hot water
Washing your hands doesn't actually KILL the microorganisms, it just gets them off your hands and down the drain. The use of soap makes them slip off instead of sticking on your skin.
Wet you hands. Put soap on your hands. Sing the alphabet song from beginning to end all the while scrubbing. Make sure to get the wrists as well even use a small nail brush if you like. Then when you rinse use the hottest water that you can stand and dry off with a clean towel. During the times that you cannot get to a sink and soap then use the antibacterial hand soap.
Soap and warm/hot water.

Water just romoves dirt, it doesn't do much to kill or remove the microorganisms.

Think about it. Before doctors started washing their hands with soap, and were just wiping them off with rags and water, they used to spread disease like mad. It's only since they started using soap that they haven't had to worry about transferring an infection from one patient to another.
Washing your hands with plain water accomplishes nothing. It's like squirting a dirty car with a hose. You end up with wet dirt on your car. Washing your hands with soap and water doesn't kill the germs. It washes them away, just like washing the dirt off your car with soap and water and a rag. Of course you rinse both your hands and the car.
yes, one should use soap and warm water to kill more micro -organisms.
Its not possible to use hot enough water to kill any bacteria/germs without scalding your hands or causing first degree burn. Before it can get hot enough you have already pulled your hands out from pain. So using hot/warm water doesnt make any difference compared to using cold water in getting rid of germs. Warm water just feels more comfortable.

Use Soap.

And like the answer above mine, soap doesnt wash the germs away, soap is designed to Kill germs.
