k I started working in a bakery, so we pretty much have to wash our hands for any reason. (touching your hair, face, etc.) Plus we have to use the rubber gloves with the powder inside them. My hands started really drying out and i didnt realise how bad it was getting till my skin started cracking yesterday. I started putting lotion on it but is it to late for the quick fix methode, do i need to buy something else for my hands so they dont get any worse?Industrial strength soap at work drying out my hands?

use softer soap at work. even if that means buying it yourself!
and bring lotion with you and apply it regularly.
